Derek brings a strong business background in sales, marketing and project management to Zephyr Real Estate. As part of a creative team, Derek worked in partnership with several large corporations and non-profits to develop sales initiatives, to establish digital and print marketing programs and to develop internal applications to enhance program performance. Highly regarded and well-liked by his peers for his ability to successfully mediate a wide range of group and business objectives, Derek offers a unique blend of business know-how and calm straightforward leadership.

Derek began his real estate career at Zephyr’s Noe Valley office. In 2006, he moved to Zephyr’s South of Market location and works in partnership with Zephyr colleague, Aimee Arost. He is also a founding member of “zsoma,” which focuses on the dynamically changing market of SOMA/South Beach. Outside the office, Derek enjoys playing tennis at any of the City’s striking locations, snowboarding, surfing and cooking for friends and family.
